What is the New Homes Quality Code?
The NHQC ensures that registered developers meet strict standards of construction and customer service. It is overseen by the independent New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) and aims to provide transparency and fairness from your first inquiry through to your after-sales care.

The New Homes Ombudsman Service
If we are unable to resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, you Whave the right to refer your case to the New Homes Ombudsman Service. This independent body can review your claim and provide a final decision to resolve the matter.
Scope of the Code
The Code currently covers individuals buying a new home to live in or for another person to live in. While the Board is working to expand these protections to shared owners and landlords, certain areas remain outside the scope of the Code, including:

Claims for personal injury.

Claims for loss of property value or "blight."

Claims not covered by the New Homes Ombudsman scheme rules.
